This is my twenty-seventh year teaching, my seventh as a Montessori teacher.  I have been a director of a pre-school and have taught kindergarten through third grade.  I feel fortunate to have worked with such a wide range of ages.  I love being the first teacher in a child's life, to see their learning and their understanding unfold.  I feel that my experience has fine tuned my abilities to know what a child needs and when he or she needs it.  My years of working with young children continue to surprise me, inspire me, and add much fulfillment to my life.   I completed my Montessori training through the Michigan Montessori Training Center.  I have a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from Oakland University.  My Bachelor of Art Degree in Art History was earned at Wayne State  University.  I studied art in France at Academie de Feu, I have attended numerous workshops and seminars for teaching primary science.  I have been part of a research team to study the needs of the highly gifted, and received a grant to work with an international  archaeological team outside of Budapest, Hungary.
