As we all know, state and federal funding for education is declining and budgets are squeezed tighter and tighter each year. It’s more important than ever to invest in our children’s education and it is up to each of us to do what we can to make a difference. There are many ways that your efforts can help our unique school continue to thrive -- including donating funds to the school, volunteering time to school projects, and attending PTO meetings to help shape the direction our school.

FUNDRAISING
Raise money for the school by helping organize or participating in our school fundraisers such as Ladies Night, Move-a-thon, and product sales that help fund our school programs. Contact: Marcy Lindberg wildtwig@yahoo.com 938-2681
SPECIAL PROJECTS
Teachers and the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) are always in need of volunteers to help coordinate special projects, work a couple of hours to complete a project, or donate supplies. Please ask your teacher how you can help, or visit the school bulletin board or website (www.tcaps.net/montessori) for “wish list” items you can fulfill.
ATTEND PTO MEETINGS
Help shape decisions made at our school by attending monthly Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) Meetings. The funds raised and managed by the PTO supplement the school budget and help fund special purchases the school makes throughout the year. Meetings are held in the school cafeteria on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 6:00-7:30pm. Childcare is provided.
MAKE A DONATION
If donating your time is not an option, but you would like to contribute to the development and enhancement of TCAPS Montessori, you may make a tax deductible* contribution directly to TCAPS Montessori (in the memo line of your check please write "Direct Appeal Donation"). Many of our other school fundraisers only deliver to the school a percentage of the money collected. By donating directly to TCAPS Montessori 100% of your tax deductible* donation will support your child’s education.
